La fortune du théâtre de Molière sur la scène italienne remonte à seconde moitié XXe siècle. En l'espace quelques décennies, le dramaturge presque inconnu grand public, inspire les plus grands metteurs en italiens qui, travers ses comédies, abordent question complexe mise des classiques dans monde contemporain. découverte a comblé, comme l'avait deviné Cesare Garboli, une lacune tradition théâtrale italienne, celle comédie bourgeoise et valeurs liées absentes, même époque, société italienne. temps, nécessité d'adapter d'actualiser texte par rapport langue remet cause choix traduction impose nouveaux défis au jeu l'acteur.
